Diamondmasters Launches New Multi-Purpose Blade Range

Diamondmasters, the UK’s foremost supplier of diamond tools, cutting equipment and machinery, has launched a new multi-purpose diamond blade range to simplify the specification of blades for dry-cut and semi-dry cut applications.

Available in the UK with immediate effect, the multi-purpose range provides access to two colour-coded blades, with red (MPC10) suitable for cutting all concretes/some granites and green (MPA10) designed for asphalt/medium concretes.

Diamondmasters developed this dual-grade multi-purpose approach based on market feedback, with contractors increasingly finding that some multi-purpose blades could rapidly become worn in various applications.

Wayne Coleman, Diamondmasters National Sales Manager, explains: “Multi-purpose blades are not a new concept, but we found that the common ‘one-type-fits-all’ is actually a false economy. While it is easier from aprocurement perspective to purchase a single blade type across the board, inpractice some blades wear very quickly – resulting in increased consumption. We looked for a solution to this and with the new Diamondmasters multi-purpose range, have succeeded in simplifying the procurement of blades, but without compromising on quality or longevity of performance.”

The colour-coding of the blade grade will make it quicker and easier for contractors to select the correct type for a particular material, ensuring that the blade does not wear prematurely and achievesoptimum blade life.

To support contractors in specifying its multi-purposeblade products, Diamondmasters has produced a blade selector guide, which provides a simple overview as to the applications in which each blade will best perform.

Diamondmasters also offers full on-site technical service which includes training and specification support.

As a company that has been specialising in diamond tools and cutting equipment for over 20 years, Diamondmasters has an extensive product portfolio backed up by a highly experienced technical team. Wayne concludes:“We will continue to offer the specialist blades and equipment that Diamondmasters has built an enviable reputation for, but believe that in an increasingly competitive marketplace, it’s important to develop general purpose blade solutions which help contractors reduce cost whilst maintaining the highest quality standards.”

All Diamondmasters products, including the multi-purpose range, are manufactured to EN13236 standards and certified by the OSA accreditation body.
